What I do

I have a special interest in local government and have recently acted for several elected councillors in matters concerning local democracy. I advise and act for public representatives, organisations and media publications in disputes with local authorities.

Common Disputes

• Council management failing to comply with the Local Government Act 2001

• Local authorities refusing to grant access to records or registers

• Council management refusing to convene meetings or implement resolutions passed by members
